Summary/Objective: Oversee the culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, a commitment to excellent service, and a dedication to the well-being of our residents. This individual will manage the kitchen staff, menu planning, food preparation, and ensure that all dining services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
Proven experience in a culinary management role, ideally within a healthcare or senior living setting. Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred. Completion of ServSafe Food Manager Course. Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs specific to seniors. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage and lead a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible, adaptable approach. Must understand the Vulnerable Adults Act. Must complete and pass criminal background check.
