Location: Hattie Mae White \n \nDepartment: Curriculum Design RLA/SS/DL \n \nArea:District Wide \n \nContract Months:12 \n \nSalary Range: $110,000.00 \u2013 $135,000.00 \n \nAcademic Year: 25-26 \n \nJOB SUMMARY\n \nThe Cross-Functional Team Member is an integral part of the curriculum department. The primary role of this position will be to collaborate with executive leadership, directors, and managers across the department to execute assignments and special projects. This team member will contribute expertise, and work towards achieving common goals. The Cross-Functional Team Member will participate in cross-functional projects, leveraging knowledge and skills to drive innovation, streamline processes, and deliver successful outcomes.\n \nMAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n Problem Solving:Contribute problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to help address challenges and obstacles that may arise during projects, actively participating in finding effective solutions.\n Collaboration:Collaborate effectively with team members from various functional areas, bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise to solve complex problems and drive project success.\n Cross-Functional Support:Provide support and expertise within the functional area to team members from other departments, contributing to the overall success of the cross-functional team.\n Goal Achievement:Work collectively towards achieving common goals and objectives set by the team, aligning individual tasks and deliverables accordingly.\n Communication:Foster open and transparent communication within the cross-functional team, sharing information, ideas, and updates to facilitate collaboration and ensure everyone is well-informed.\n Promote a positive team culture that values diversity, collaboration, innovation and accountability.\n \n\n \nMAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED\n \nN/A\n \nEDUCATION\n \nBachelor's degree in a relevant field (depending on the specific requirements of the cross-functional team). Master's degree preferred.) \n \nWORK EXPERIENCE\n \n3 Years Experience working in cross-functional teams or projects.\n \nSKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION\n\n Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse functional backgrounds.\n Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear and concise information sharing.\n Strong problem-solving abilities, with a logical and analytical mindset to address complex challenges.\n Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and changing work environment.\n Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.\n Proficiency in relevant software and tools used by the cross-functional team.\n* Continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to expand knowledge and skills in other functional areas.\n \nLEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES\n \nWork Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing typically involves monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of same duties they are leading. \n \nWORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT\n \nWork involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.\n \nBUDGET AUTHORITY\n \nNo budget development activity is required.\n \nPROBLEM SOLVING\n \nDecisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas.\n \nIMPACT OF DECISIONS\n \nDecisions have minor, small and possibly incremental impact on the department or facility. Errors are usually discovered in succeeding operations where most of the work is verified or checked and is normally confined to a single department or phase of the organizational activities resulting in brief inconvenience. \n \nCOMMUNICATION/INTERACTIONS\n \nCollaborate and solve problems - works with others to resolve problems, clarify or interpret complex information/policies, and provide initial screening/negotiations without approval authority. Interactions are typically with customers, senior level professional staff, and managers. \n \nCUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS\n \nTakes routine or required customer actions to meet customer needs. Responds promptly and accurately to customer complaints, inquiries and requests for information and coordinates appropriate follow-up.
