POSITION TITLE: Full-Time CTE CNA Instructor at the College and Career Readiness Center
POSITION SUMMARY: Serves as primary instructor for a Certified Nursing Assistant training program for high school students in the second year of a CTE Health Science program. Serves as instructor for three classes with up to 12 second year students per class. 185-day position follows 10-month school calendar from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Has at least one full year of experience as a nurse in a long-term care facility
Has worked as a nurse within the last three years
Ability to qualify for CTE Annual Career Authorization to teach high school students (4000 hours of recent/relevant experience in Healthcare field over the last 10 years)
REPORTS TO: Associate Superintendent/CTE Director
SALARY/BENEFITS: Commensurate with experience according to RESD CTE instructor pay scale
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time with benefits
