Description

This role performs a wide range of technical and patient care procedures requiring independent judgment while operating a multislice CT scanner. The position utilizes power injectors, monitoring equipment, and involves starting IVs as well as administering IV, oral, or rectal contrast under the direction of an onsite physician. Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential. In addition to CT responsibilities, this role continues to apply radiologic technology skills by performing diagnostic Xray and Fluoroscopy procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of technical and patient care procedures using a multislice CT scanner, requiring independent judgment.

Utilize power injectors and patient monitoring equipment during CT exams.

Start IVs and administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast under the direction of the onsite physician.

Provide exemplary customer service to all patients and colleagues.

Participate actively in a teambased environment, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Continue utilizing radiologic technology experience to perform diagnostic Xray and Fluoroscopy procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program

Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Within 1 year of hire:

National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--

National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one-year in a CT Scan department preferred

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
