Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computerized tomography equipment while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accuracy of results.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to obtain diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
- Properly position patients to ensure accurate imaging of the targeted body area.
- Perform regular equipment warm-up and maintenance routines to extend the life of X-ray tubes.
- Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Review and interpret physicians’ imaging instructions accurately.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal structures.
- Evaluate CT scans to ensure technical quality and diagnostic usefulness.
- Clearly explain procedures and provide reassurance and support to patients throughout the process.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a CT Technologist.
License/Certification:
- ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Active state license in Ohio (if applicable).
- BLS certification required.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, patient care, and technical proficiency with CT imaging equipment.
