CT Technologist in Detroit, MI.
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Detroit, MI 48235
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Payrate: $67-$70/hour
Responsibilities:- Performs diagnostic CT exams following established protocols and policies
- Verifies patient identity, reviews records, and assesses medical history and risk factors
- Explains procedures, including risks, benefits, and side effects
- Prepares equipment and acquires images per protocol
- Reviews images, notes exceptions, and communicates findings to radiologist
- Recognizes and responds to medical emergencies
- Provides post-procedure care instructions
- Participates in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
- Educates residents, students, and new staff
- Takes call/standby as required
- Assists with general radiologic technologist duties as needed
Qualifications:- ARRT registered in Radiology (R); CT certification preferred
- BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required
- 2 years Radiologic Technologist experience
