Travel CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Duration - 13 Weeks
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a rehabilitation and long-term acute care setting. This role involves performing CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures while delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- First-time travelers welcome
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
Schedule:
- 4x10 Day Shifts
- Primarily Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend coverage required
- On-call requirement of 2–3 nights per week
Skills & Experience:
- CT imaging experience required
- Diagnostic X-ray experience required
- Experience with older CT scanner platforms preferred
- Experience operating portable X-ray units and C-arm equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently in a low-volume setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray examinations according to established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and image quality standards are maintained
- Operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
