Description

Job Title: CT Technologist

Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 3855 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA 30096

Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Monday–Wednesday | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required.
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required.
  • Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Experience using Cerner EMR preferred.
  • Experience performing CT imaging for inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and stroke patients.
  • Experience assisting with CT-guided procedures preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced overnight environment.
  • No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT examinations for inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and stroke patients following physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Administer intravenous contrast media when indicated and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Assist radiologists with CT-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Evaluate image quality and repeat scans when necessary to ensure optimal diagnostic results.
  • Prioritize and respond rapidly to emergency, trauma, and stroke imaging requests during overnight shifts.
  • Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and contrast administration in Cerner and PACS.
