CT Technologist – Travel Assignment

Position: CT Technologist
Department: CT Imaging
Location: 1200 Northside Forsyth Drive, Cumming, GA 30041
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, and Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Shift Pattern: 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Weekend Coverage Required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume imaging department
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Familiarity with Bayer Medrad Contrast Injectors and SBAR communication protocols preferred

Department Overview

• 24-hour CT Imaging Department
• Equipped with three Siemens CT scanners:
  • Siemens Edge Plus
  • Siemens Definition AS
  • Siemens Force
• Average volume:
  • Approximately 130 exams per day during the week
  • Approximately 80 exams per day on weekends
• Provides imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients

Procedures Performed

Technologists may perform a variety of advanced CT procedures, including but not limited to:

• CT Angiography (CTA) Coronary Studies
• Various CT-Guided Biopsy Procedures
• Abscess Drain Placements
• Pre-Watchman Protocol Imaging
• Ablation Protocol Imaging

• Local candidates are not accepted if residing within 50 miles of the facility.

This assignment is ideal for an experienced CT Technologist seeking a challenging role in a high-volume, technologically advanced imaging department with exposure to a broad range of diagnostic and interventional CT procedures.
