Title: CT Tech
Location: Fairfield, CA 94533
Duration – 08 Weeks
Shift: Tues-Thurs at 0800-1630, Fri- Sat 2300-0730 (40 hours weekly)
Local Pay - $50 - $55 per hour (Stipend also available for Traveler)
Duties:
Performs C/T examinations in accordance to established protocols.
- Assists and instructs patients prior and during examinations.
- Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
- Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.
- Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use.
- Reports to radiology supervisor all equipment failures and/or malfunctions.
- Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies and drug reactions according to Q.A. policies.
- Responsible for processing images, organizing paper work and completing charges.
- Works in other areas of the department such as radiology, ultrasound, etc.
- Organizational standards for Joint Commission, Patient Safety and the Department of
- Heath will be met or exceeded.
- Takes call or stand-by when required.
- Performs other duties as required.
Skills:
- Some clerical and computer experience.
