Education Requirement - Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience- Board certified as a Radiologic Technologist, (ARRT) required.
- 3+ years of CT experience is required, preferably in a Level 1 trauma center OR busy Level II
- 3+ year of supervisory experience is preferred
- Experience with free standing ED's is a plus
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities - Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with hospital personnel, patients, co-workers, and the public.
- Knowledge of other modalities or willing to gain knowledge of other modalities as requested for the potential of cross-training opportunities.
- Proficient with working with patients of all ages (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adult and elderly.)
- Ability to perform numerous tasks at once, prioritize workload and organize workflow.
- Must be able follow established Universal Standard and Radiation Safety precautions.
- Position requires flexibility to accommodate fluctuation in daily schedule, including but not limited to overtime, irregular hours and on-call responsibilities.
