Summary
The Customer Service Representative reports to the Store Manager and assists with store operations, cleanliness, inventory, and cash control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
- Follow cash handling policies accurately
- Restock store items as directed
- Upsell to every customer
- Assist in serving customers and resolving issues
- Train new CSR's
- Submit grocery orders for approval
- Create attractive product displays
- Review and suggest improvements for store layouts
- Provide feedback on the fast food area
- Complete reports and documentation
- Follow vendor procedures and company policies
- Handle shift close-out reports
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and equipment functionality
- Manage price and promotional updates
- Report safety incidents and maintenance needs
- Participate in additional tasks as needed
Requirements
High School diploma or GED preferred; outstanding customer service skills; reliable transportation; positive attitude; basic computer skills; well-organized; good people skills; flexible schedule, including weekends and extended hours during staffing shortages.
