Summary

The Customer Service Representative reports to the Store Manager and assists with store operations, cleanliness, inventory, and cash control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
  • Follow cash handling policies accurately
  • Restock store items as directed
  • Upsell to every customer
  • Assist in serving customers and resolving issues
  • Train new CSR's
  • Submit grocery orders for approval
  • Create attractive product displays
  • Review and suggest improvements for store layouts
  • Provide feedback on the fast food area
  • Complete reports and documentation
  • Follow vendor procedures and company policies
  • Handle shift close-out reports
  • Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and equipment functionality
  • Manage price and promotional updates
  • Report safety incidents and maintenance needs
  • Participate in additional tasks as needed

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred; outstanding customer service skills; reliable transportation; positive attitude; basic computer skills; well-organized; good people skills; flexible schedule, including weekends and extended hours during staffing shortages.
