Summary
The Customer Service Representative reports to the Store Manager and assists with store operations, cleanliness, maintenance, inventory, and cash control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
- Follow cash handling policies
- Restock store items as directed
- Upsell to every customer
- Assist with serving customers and training new CSR's
- Resolve customer issues promptly and courteously
- Submit grocery orders for approval
- Create attractive product displays and review build-to's
- Provide feedback on food service areas
- Complete reports and accept employment applications
- Follow vendor procedures and company policies
- Manage shift close-outs, safety inspections, and price changes
- Report safety incidents and maintenance needs
- Participate in additional tasks as needed by management
Requirements
High School diploma or GED preferred
Outstanding customer service skills
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Positive attitude and team player
Basic computer skills
Good organization and time management
Flexible schedule, including all shifts and days, possibly exceeding 40 hours during busy times
