Working closely with the Senior EPM, the Lead ensures engineering, integration, and test activities are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Provide technical direction for the definition and development of the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) LBTF systems design and architecture, and coordinate all appropriate engineering activities:

Stakeholder Interface and Program Integration
Serve as the main technical liaison for Program Management, customers, and external partners.
Contribute to the Program Integration Team, providing technical insight for cost, schedule, and risk discussions.
Resource and Staffing Coordination
Work closely with the Senior EPM to identify staffing needs, skill sets, and training requirements
Provide accurate, timely estimates of required personnel, tools, infrastructure, and other resources.
Performance, Risk, and Dependency Management
Monitor engineering progress using earned-value and technical performance metrics
Identify, document, and elevate risks and dependencies to decision-makers and stakeholders.
Communication and Documentation
Deliver regular technical status updates to all constituents
Facilitate technical briefings, design reviews, and procurement meetings.
Bachelors degree from an accredited university in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience
Minimum of 12 years of SE experience, in a SE lead position (EPM, Technical Director (TD), Lead Systems Engineer (LSE), Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) Lead, etc), and in a related industry
Have executed in similar capacity/projects. Having executed as TD/EPM on substantial Ship program is a key asset and discriminator
Considered an expert and an authority in discipline
Demonstrated ability to influence and customer relations
Strong team player and leadership skills
Demonstrated softskills, agility and solution oriented.
Demonstrated ability to deal with difficult and delicate situations.
Must have excellent organization skills and an analytical ability to develop and deliver concise presentations
Experience on Canadian defence projects
Risk Management experience
