ROLE OVERVIEW

Our season kicks off in April and runs through November with the possibility of extending into December. As a seasonal team member, youll enjoy winters off to travel, hunt, fish, or pursue the activities you love-while still keeping your benefits all year long.
Responsibilities:
• Will be trained to safely operate machines that convey, wash, crush, and screen aggregates to produce quality sand and gravel at maximum production levels. • Will be trained to operate and maintain front-end loader to lift and transport aggregates to feed conveyors, hoppers, or to load trucks as needed, or provide backup support to scale house operator when needed. • May be responsible to conduct fabrication and maintenance on aggregate processing equipment as required.
DUTIES AND OR RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary of components that make up the job:
• Perform daily equipment walk-around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions. • Keep aggregate processing equipment properly maintained, including periodic and routine maintenance activities (e.g., lubricating, fueling, and cleaning). • Fabricate machine parts as needed. • With training, safely and properly operate a crusher and loader. • With training, identify appropriate material to produce quality aggregate material per job specifications. • With training, communicate with quality control personnel and make required adjustments to material blends. • Shovel excess material away from crusher or screen unit as needed to keep work area clean and safe from hazards. • Accurately complete crushing reports and other documentation as needed. • Ensure MSHA EPA safety and environmental regulation compliance. • Provide backup to Scale house operator when needed. • Troubleshoot and problem-solve situations, problems, material quality, equipment operation, repair, etc. • Monitor and discuss production problems with coworkers and managers/supervisors. • Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors. • Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum educational experience or other relevant job requirements:
• Ability to hold and maintain a drivers license in accordance with all state regulations. • Knowledge of or past experience in equipment maintenance and operation. • Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime possible nights and some Saturdays. • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
PREferred REQUIREMENTS
Preferred requirements, i.e., certifications, software use, etc.:

COMPENSATION
Wage range: $25-35 per hour depending on experience.
