Requirements / Qualifications

Satisfactory evaluation by school principal, athletic director or other administrator, and/or appropriate letter of recommendation from current or most recent coaching position held. Must have current TB clearance; Valid CPR/First Aid and Coaching certificate and background check. Certification: Prior coaching experience. In lieu of coaching experience at least three (3) years of experience participation in a collegiate varsity level program (Junior College accepted). In either event, proof of same. Other: CIF required training courses. Please be sure you are up to date on courses as they expire after 2 years. Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training, Heat Acclimatization Course, The Collapsed Athlete
