Job Summary

Job Summary

Qualifications • Previous cross country coaching or competitive running experience preferred • Knowledge of cross country rules, training principles, and race strategies • Ability to teach appropriate running techniques, warm-up/cool-down routines, and pacing • Experience supervising and conducting practices and races in a safe environment • Commitment to teaching good sportsmanship, team cooperation, and communication • Strong verbal and written communication skills with athletes, parents, and athletic directors • Ability to work with Athletic Directors to monitor athletes school attendance, grades, and behavior • Ability to manage uniforms, equipment, and school facilities responsibly • First Aid/CPR/AED certification required • Valid California driver s license required
