Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher--Grades 7-12

The Peshtigo School District is seeking a full-time cross-categorical special education teacher beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Position provides case management and instruction to students in grades 7-12. The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• Ability to provide instruction and opportunities that support positive behavior and healthy development
• Ability to complete all required paperwork in a legally compliant manner
• Understanding of child development and research-based strategies that support appropriate behavior and social development
• Strong organizational skills
• Qualified DPI license in special education, ability to become licensed, or currently enrolled in a teacher certification program
