About the Opportunity/Position Highlights
Case variety includes Cardiac, Peds (ENT, Dental, Ortho, ED), and OB/GYN. Shift opportunities focus on day, afternoon and overnight call opportunities. 8, 10, 12 and 24-hour shift options. CRNAs place Spinals Clinical training relationships available and encouraged. Opportunity to participate in committees, teaching opportunities available for varied allied health care learners as well as SRNAs from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program. Candidate Highlights
NC RN licensure required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia required. CRNA licensure required. BLS and ACLS PALS from AHA required. Pediatric ED experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply.

Atrium Health Union is a 182-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus offers a variety of medical services, including a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and childrens center, interventional heart program and physician practices.
Over the past 15-plus years our hospital has been serving the Monroe area, and we have worked to add new services and more specialized physicians and programs to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community. Atrium Health Union: manages 3,230 OR cases and 1,954 NORA cases annually. Case mix includes General, Orthopedic, Urology, Robotics, Podiatry, ENT, Peds, Vascular, and OB/GYN.

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) that functions at a medical level of care to provide anesthesia, analgesia, and pain management services across the patient lifespan in a variety of settings. Clinical responsibilities may include ambulatory, surgery center and/or hospital anesthesia services. The CRNA participates as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, high quality, cost effective, and evidenced-based care.
The CRNA demonstrates the highest levels of professionalism and upholds the missions, visions, and values of Advocate Health. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will provide care within their scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, institutional policy, privileges, and practice agreements.
