Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • Provide anesthesia services Monday through Friday with weekday call coverage

  • Weekend and holiday call coverage required (typically 1 in 6 rotation)

  • Weekday shifts: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM call coverage

  • Weekend shifts: 24-hour coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

  • Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes

  • Minimum coverage requirement of 2 weeks per month

  • Work alongside 3 to 4 CRNAs on shift, plus 2 pediatric CRNAs on Fridays

  • Handle typically 3 to 5 cases per day depending on operating room load

  • Serve primarily adult and elderly patient population with light pediatrics

  • Operate in CRNA-only model without physician oversight

  • Perform orthopedic procedures including total joints, neuro spine, and sports medicine

  • Provide anesthesia for general surgery, plastics, podiatry, obstetrics, and ophthalmology cases

  • Administer neuraxial anesthesia including spinal, epidural, and combined spinal-epidural for elective procedures

  • Perform nerve blocks and manage obstetric anesthesia for 35 to 50 C-sections annually

  • Board certification through NBCRNA required

  • Must hold active Minnesota license and DEA registration

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with rural health experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with nerve blocks, obstetrics, general anesthesia, and spinals required

The anesthesia department features 4 core operating rooms, a dedicated endoscopy room, C-suite, 1 flex room, and DaVinci robotic surgery capabilities. The facility utilizes Cerner/Oracle EMR systems and maintains a collaborative environment with multiple CRNAs working together to deliver quality patient care across diverse surgical specialties.
