    Opportunity:

    Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

    Job Details:

    • Full-time coverage with a minimum of 2 weeks per month and minimum of 36 hours per week

    • Two consecutive weeks per month required for the first three months of the assignment; after three months, every other week schedule may be honored

    • Shift options include 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts with schedules running 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, or 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

    • Beeper call available on some Saturdays (12 hours) and weeknights (8 hours); occasional overnight shifts on weeknights and/or weekends are welcome but not required

    • Supervised practice model within a Care Team Model with a 4:1 ratio and a 24-hour Anesthesia Aid Department to support room turnover and supply management

    • Patient population is ages 12 and older

    • Tertiary/Level III hospital facility setting

    • EMR system: Epic

    • CRNAs do not perform blocks, arterial lines, epidurals, or spinals

    • Specialized care procedures involved

    • Licensed Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse Anesthetist licensure through the MN Board of Nursing required

    • ACLS/BLS (Tier 2 - Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required upon hire

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience required

    • Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility to be considered

    • Minnesota is not a compact state

    • Skills checklist required at time of submission

    This is a tertiary-level, Level III hospital facility offering advanced and specialized medical care across a wide range of services. The facility operates using a Care Team Model with robust anesthesia support staff available around the clock, ensuring a well-organized and collaborative clinical environment. The organization utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.
