Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia

Job Details:

  • Join a collaborative anesthesia team providing care across a full patient demographic from pediatrics to geriatrics

  • This is a supervised CRNA role with a strong focus on general surgical cases

  • Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients

  • Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure

  • Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures

  • Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process

  • Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams

  • Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)

  • Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records

  • 32-40 hours per week (8 or 10 hour shifts), work either Monday or Friday every week

  • No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)

  • Operate within a Level II Trauma Center setting

  • Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases

  • Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments based on needs

  • Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed

  • Must have 1 year CRNA experience and active MI license required

  • Board Certified CRNA, ACLS, BLS through AHA, and PALS certifications required
