Academic Background, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Anesthesiology, Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Electronic Medical Records, Endoscopy, Epic Systems, Hospital, Medical Treatment, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Outpatient Care, Patient Care, Patient Education, Pediatrics, Surgical Procedures
13-week contract starting June 1, 2026 with options to extend
Requires weekly availability with 4x10-hour shifts or 3x12-13 hour shifts each week
One rotating Saturday each month required - no call responsibilities
Practice locations include main OR, outpatient surgery center, and endoscopy center
Provide anesthesia care for patients age 13 through end of life
Work at Level 1 trauma center with 33 main ORs, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3-4 GI center rooms
Utilize Epic EMR system in 600-bed hospital facility
Perform all CRNA scope of practice except open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and peripheral nerve blocks
Work alongside 60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents
Minimum 2 years experience required, preferably with academic background and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
Virginia state license and board certification required
Valid ACLS and BLS certifications through AHA required
Must live 50+ miles from facility - no local candidates
All time off requests must be made upfront, no consecutive time off exceeding 5 days approved during summer months
