Provide anesthesia services for patients aged 13 to end of life
Work (4) 10-hour shifts per week or (3) 12-13 hour shifts each week plus 1 rotating Saturday each month
Requires weekly availability with preference for no rotating weeks on/weeks off
Practice at multiple locations including main OR, outpatient surgery center, and endoscopy center
Cover 33 ORs in main OR, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3-4 stand-alone GI center rooms
Work within all CRNA scope of practice guidelines
Cases will not include open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and performing peripheral nerve blocks
Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Utilize Epic EMR system
Minimum 2 years experience required, preferably with academic background and level 1 or 2 trauma experience
Must have valid ACLS & BLS certifications completed through AHA
All time off requests must be made upfront
No call required

This is a 600-bed Level 1 trauma center that serves as a major academic medical center. The facility operates with a large anesthesia team consisting of 60 CRNAs, approximately 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents. The comprehensive anesthesia department provides services across multiple locations including the main operating rooms, outpatient surgery centers, and various offsite locations, offering diverse clinical experiences and advanced medical capabilities.
