Description:
CTG is seeking an experienced CRM / HubSpot Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable CRM solutions that support clinical service growth, research initiatives, fundraising, community outreach, and academic programs. This role partners closely with marketing, patient access, development, IT, and compliance teams to ensure HubSpot and integrated CRM platforms align with institutional goals, data governance standards, and healthcare privacy regulations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical development skills with a deep understanding of CRM strategy in complex, regulated environments such as healthcare or higher education.
Location: Remote, 6+ month contract
Key Responsibilities:
HubSpot & CRM Development
- Develop, customize, and maintain HubSpot CRM configurations, workflows, custom objects, forms, dashboards, and reports
- Build and optimize automation for marketing, patient engagement, alumni/donor outreach, and internal communications
- Configure lead lifecycle stages, attribution models, and data validation rules
System Integration & Data Management
- Design and support integrations between HubSpot and enterprise systems (e.g., EMR/ERP, patient access systems, fundraising CRMs, web platforms, data warehouses)
- Ensure data accuracy, normalization, and synchronization across systems
- Support API integrations, middleware tools, and secure data exchange practices
Analytics & Reporting
- Develop dashboards and reporting to support executive leadership, marketing performance, service line growth, and campaign effectiveness
- Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions
- Partner with analytics teams to ensure actionable insights and KPI alignment
Security, Privacy & Compliance
- Ensure CRM implementations comply with HIPAA, institutional privacy standards, and data governance policies
- Partner with Information Security and Compliance teams on access controls, audits, and risk mitigation
- Support role-based permissions and data segmentation strategies
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
- Work closely with marketing, patient access, research administration, development, IT, and external vendors
- Gather requirements, recommend solutions, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Provide documentation, training, and ongoing support for CRM users
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting HubSpot CRM or comparable CRM platforms
- Experience with CRM customization, workflows, APIs, and data integrations
- Strong SQL and/or data analysis skills
- Proficiency with HTML/CSS and familiarity with JavaScript (preferred for HubSpot CMS or custom modules)
- Experience working in healthcare, academic, or other regulated environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- HubSpot Developer or HubSpot Administrator certification
- Experience integrating CRMs with EMR systems, fundraising platforms, or enterprise data warehouses
- Familiarity with HIPAA, FERPA, or healthcare data governance frameworks
- Experience supporting large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience integrating CRM platforms with contact center solutions (e.g., Amazon Connect, Five9, Genesys)

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85.00 to $100.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
