Critical Spares Analyst is responsible for ensuring the availability and efficient management of critical spare inventory to support network operations and minimize service disruptions. This role analyzes inventory levels, coordinates replenishment activities, facilitates material movements, and performs root cause analysis (RCA) to identify inventory and equipment reliability issues. The position partners closely with Field Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Procurement, and Engineering to optimize inventory availability, improve operational efficiency, and support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily critical spare inventory usage and create replenishment orders in Oracle to maintain established stocking levels.
  • Create and manage Salesforce work orders to coordinate the shipment, receipt, and movement of critical spare materials.
  • Analyze on-hand inventory reports to identify excess inventory and coordinate transfers to regional warehouse hub locations to optimize inventory utilization.
  • Facilitate Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests with Field Operations and vendors to ensure timely replacement and repair of defective equipment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for inventory shortages impacting operational readiness.
  • Analyze and trend Dead on Arrival (DOA) equipment data to identify recurring issues, supplier performance trends, and opportunities for quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Field Operations, Procurement, and Engineering to improve inventory availability and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes, reporting, and replenishment strategies through continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Experience working with enterprise systems such as Oracle ERP and Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Preferred (Optional):
  • Experience supporting telecommunications, data center, network operations, or technical field service organizations.
  • Knowledge of inventory optimization methodologies and warehouse operations.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $5 – $15 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
