The Critical Facilities Technician (CFT) is responsible for self-performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mission-critical mechanical and HVAC systems supporting a high-reliability data center environment. Key Responsibilities Perform planned preventive maintenance (PMs) and unplanned corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems Maintain and service equipment including chillers, cooling systems, water heaters, motors, pumps, and VFDs Execute monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance schedules Respond to break-fix situations and urgent facility needs Complete work orders and documentation using CMMS and/or paper tickets Safely use tools, materials, and equipment to complete assigned tasks Escort and coordinate with subcontractors as required Follow all safety protocols including PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures Participate in training and demonstrate willingness to learn additional systems
