Are you a dedicated Critical Care Physician looking to utilize your expertise in a dynamic inpatient setting? We are seeking a talented and committed professional to provide exceptional critical care coverage in a 20-bed ICU. This role offers flexible PRN night and weekend shifts, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes in a reputable healthcare environment.

Required Skills:

  • Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine (BC Critical Care)
  • Valid Massachusetts Medical License
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant ICU experience
  • Proficiency in procedures (preferred, with supervision by residents when applicable)
  • Experience with Epic EMR software
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate with internal medicine residents and healthcare team members

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience supervising residents
  • Strong procedural skills in critical care settings
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with inpatient ICU workflows and protocols

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board-certified in Critical Care Medicine
  • At least 1 year of previous ICU coverage or supervisory experience in a hospital environment

Other Requirements:
  • Massachusetts state license (or willing to license promptly, with current licensing preferred)
  • Local candidates only; no travel reimbursement provided
  • Night shifts (7p-8a) and weekends (varied shifts with 13-hour nights preferred)
  • Ability to work flexibly on PRN basis to cover schedule gaps
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
