Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills / Experience: Prior Charge Nurse Experience
Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips
RNs are expected to read and interpret their own tele
Preferred Skills / Experience: If a 1st time traveler, then travelers need to have 3+ years of ICU experience & have Epic experience
Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding
Unit / Facility Details: Travelers are expected to float throughout the zone they are hired into. Each zone covers a 60 mile radius from the zone’s city center which is where the 60 mile verbiage comes into play. The traveler is responsible for obtaining housing that makes this feasible as the requirement to float throughout the full 60 mile zone applies regardless of where the traveler obtains housing
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must Charge
Shift & Scheduling: 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule
Schedules are released 4–6 weeks in advance and follow one of two formats:
May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation
Floating Requirement: Must float Zone 3:
May be asked to float into any other acuity level; ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
