Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is recruiting a board eligible/certified, fellowship-trained Critical Care Anesthesiologist to join HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, FL.  Join a collaborative group that is passionate about providing exceptional patient care to the community.

Qualified Candidates/Opportunity Highlights:
  • MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required.
  • Fellowship training in Critical Care Anesthesiology from an ACGME-accredited program required.
  • Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of Florida prior to employment.
  • The ideal candidate will have one to three years’ experience following completion of fellowship training and demonstrated experience in teaching and mentorship.
  • Anesthesia Care Team model of 10 Anesthesiologists and 28 CRNA’s; MDs do approximately 5% of their own cases.
  • Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Thoracic, Open Heart, Structural Heart, Vascular/Endovascular, General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Neuro, ENT, Urology, and Peds.
  • State-of-the-Art facility with a total of 13 operating rooms, with 2 of those being used for open heart surgery; 2 OB (Level III NICU); Level II Trauma. Annual surgical volume - 11,500 cases.
