Strong foundation in Law, with practical experience applying Criminal Law principles in court settings.
Demonstrated expertise in Criminal Defense Law and Criminal Defense practice, including case strategy, negotiation, and trial advocacy.
Proficient legal Research skills to analyze statutes, case law, and procedural rules and apply them effectively to client matters.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license (in good standing) to practice law in Missouri and/or Kansas, or eligibility for prompt admission.
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including motion practice, brief writing, and effective courtroom presentation.
Strong client communication and counseling abilities, with a professional, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.
Ability to manage a demanding caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in criminal defense, public defense, prosecution, or related litigation is highly preferred.
