The Crew Leader-Retail supervises store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to core values such as respect, empowerment, and safety.
- Greet and assist customers, answer questions, process transactions, and handle inquiries courteously.
- Create and maintain merchandise displays to attract customers and meet sales goals.
- Open/close the store, manage bank deposits, and submit reports promptly.
- Train staff on customer service, donation procedures, and cash handling; participate in hiring and onboarding.
- Promote a positive, inclusive work environment and uphold agency policies and values.
- Maintain acceptable attendance, hygiene, and dress standards, attending required meetings and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating strong communication, multitasking, teamwork, and flexibility.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and retail experience, along with a valid driver’s license and passing background checks. Must be physically able to work in various environments, lift up to 25 lbs., and stand for extended periods. The role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
