We are looking for a Crew Leader to lead nationwide industrial installation projects, with a strong focus on hands-on mechanical assembly, industrial equipment installation, and small crew leadership in a travel-heavy environment.
This role operates within a field-based industrial installation company supporting manufacturing and commercial facilities across the country. The position carries direct responsibility for leading 3–5 person crews on multi-week installations involving paint booths, conveyor systems, roll-up doors, and related industrial equipment. Perform hands-on mechanical assembly, equipment installation, and light electrical work in active industrial and manufacturing environments
Read and interpret installation drawings, layouts, and basic electrical schematics during field execution
Coordinate daily onsite logistics, materials, and installation sequencing to keep projects moving efficiently
Troubleshoot installation issues in the field and communicate solutions directly with leadership
Install paint booths, roll-up doors, conveyor systems, and related industrial equipment
Maintain quality and safety standards while working extended shifts and travel schedules
Train and mentor junior installers and field technicians during active projects
Travel nationally for projects while maintaining strong communication and reliability onsite
Requirements
2+ years of experience leading crews in industrial installation, mechanical assembly, electrical installation, HVAC installation, or manufacturing maintenance environments
Prior hands-on experience working in the field daily is required
Comfortable traveling nationally for extended project durations throughout the year
Experience reading blueprints, layouts, or installation drawings preferred
Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting experience strongly preferred
Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, shutdown, or equipment installation environments preferred
Must be comfortable performing physical field work and working overtime when projects require it
Residential-only construction experience will not be sufficient for this role
Benefits
Competitive pay based on experience
Health insurance + benefits package
Retirement plan options
Paid time off
Opportunity to travel and work on diverse industrial projects nationwide
