    Position Type: Full-Time
    Department: Accounting / Finance

    SCM is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Credit Specialist to support credit operations, account setup, and cash application activities. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, solid financial judgment, and a commitment to accuracy and customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:
    What You’ll Do:
    • Review credit applications, analyze financial information, and recommend credit limits and terms.
    • Open new customer accounts and maintain accurate credit files and records.
    • Process daily cash receipts and support timely, accurate account reconciliation.
    • Work closely with internal teams and customers to resolve credit or account-related issues.
     
    What We’re Looking For:
    • Strong financial, accounting, or credit analysis background
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
    • Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and customer focus
    • Proficiency with standard office and accounting software
     
    Supervisory Responsibility:
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Physical Demands:
    • This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop, and phone.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
    • This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. 
    • Occasional early morning, evening, and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    Education and Experience:;
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Related experience in accounting, finance, credit, or accounts receivable preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus

    • Strong attendance, dependability, and professionalism
    • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
