What You'll Do

As our Credit Manager, you'll lead the credit, accounts receivable, collections, and cash application functions for the organization. You'll be responsible for improving working capital, reducing financial risk, and building a high-performing team that supports our continued growth.

You'll:

  • Lead customer credit reviews, approvals, and ongoing credit risk management.
  • Develop and maintain company credit policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Drive collections strategy to reduce past-due accounts and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Oversee accounts receivable aging and cash application performance.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and IT to resolve customer issues and improve the order-to-cash process.
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Champion process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing credit and collections team.
  • Provide executive leadership with reporting, insights, and recommendations that strengthen working capital and reduce credit risk.

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or order-to-cash operations.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing credit or collections teams.
  • A proven track record of improving collections performance, reducing aged receivables, and lowering DSO.
  • Experience developing credit policies and managing commercial credit risk.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, cash application, dispute resolution, and collection strategies.
  • Experience working within an ERP environment (NetSuite experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • The confidence to make difficult decisions while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • A passion for leading people, improving processes, and driving business results.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Certified Credit Executive (CCE), NACM coursework, or other professional credit certifications.
  • Experience in equipment distribution, manufacturing, industrial, construction, transportation, or related industries.
  • Experience leading automation or business process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting multi-location operations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range:$90,000 - $120,000 annually
    • Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
