Attention credit warriors! If you love digging into accounts, making great credit decisions, and keeping cash flow strong all in supporting a thriving business, then you are wanted! Goddard Mason Executive Search (a dedicated division of Quality Staffing, inc.) has a wonderful Greater Dalton, GA-based wholesale flooring client offering a Credit Manager opportunity for you! 

In joining the team that is all about reliable delivery, quality control, and building strong retail relationships, you will be working normal day-time business hours Monday-Friday. This role will go straight to work for our client, and, depending on experience and ability, will earn an annual salary of  $55,000-$75,000.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing customers as well as prospects through financial analysis and credit reports to assess customer creditworthiness and establish appropriate credit limits.
  • Monitor receivables, aging reports, collections, and manage exposure to minimize risk.
  • Partner with sales, customer service, and leadership to support growth while managing risk.
  • Maintain accurate credit files and reporting for leadership.
  • Maintain and continuously improve credit policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Resolve billing disputes and assist in improving overall cash flow.
  • Provide insights and recommendations that help leadership make informed decisions.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • minimum of two years of credit and collections experience required.
  • Credit background in flooring industry very strongly preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems required, AS400 is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Professional, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.
