This role will oversee commercial military and government contract receivables ensuring strong cash flow effective risk mitigation and operational excellence.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in credit risk management collections strategy and team leadership along with experience in transportation logistics or maritime environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementSupervise coach and develop a team of credit and collections professionalsEstablish performance expectations monitor KPIs and drive accountabilityFoster a collaborative service-oriented and high-performance team cultureCredit Risk & Portfolio ManagementManage a diverse receivables portfolio including commercial military and government contract customersEvaluate and approve credit applications set credit limits and monitor exposureConduct financial analysis to assess customer creditworthiness and riskCollections & Accounts ReceivableDevelop and execute effective collections strategies to reduce past-due balancesMonitor AR aging and drive improvements in DSO Days Sales OutstandingPartner with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and disputesProcess Improvement & ComplianceImplement best practices to improve AR processes controls and reporting accuracyEnsure compliance with internal policies GAAP standards and audit requirementsSupport internal and external audits and maintain strong documentation practicesBusiness PartnershipCollaborate with operations finance and commercial teams to align credit strategies with business objectivesProvide leadership with insights on cash flow risk trends and receivables performanceAct as a key liaison between TOTE Resources and supported operating companiesQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field10 years of credit and collections experience5 years of supervisory or leadership experienceExperience managing complex receivables portfolios including government and contract-based customersBackground in transportation logistics or maritime industriesStrong knowledge of credit risk assessment AR processes and financial analysisExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience in a shared services or multi-entity environmentFamiliarity with government contracts billing requirements and compliance considerationsProfessional certification e.g. CBA CBF or similarAdvanced Excel and data analysis skillsCore CompetenciesLeadership and team developmentCredit risk management and financial acumenStrategic thinking and problem-solvingProcess improvement and continuous improvement mindsetStrong communication and stakeholder partnershipResults-driven with focus on cash flow optimizationCompensation & BenefitsTOTE Resources offers a competitive total rewards package includingMedical dental and vision insurance401k with company matchPaid time off PTO and company holidaysLife and disability insuranceEmployee assistance program EAPProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesEqual Employment Opportunity EEOTOTE Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
