Credit Analyst I (Early Career / Recent Grads Welcome)

As a Credit Analyst I, you will gain hands on experience analyzing financial information, learning how lending decisions are made, and building a strong foundation in credit and banking.

This role is a great fit for recent graduates or early career professionals who enjoy working with financial data, thinking analytically, and learning from a supportive Credit Risk team. You will be exposed to commercial lending, with coaching and guidance to help you grow your skills and confidence along the way.

No prior banking experience? That is okay. We will help you learn.

What You Will Do

• Learn how to analyze financial information and assist with written assessments of borrower and guarantor creditworthiness
• Prepare financial spreads using personal and business tax returns and financial statements
• Support the ordering and review of appraisal reports
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial updates, collateral evaluations, and loan reviews
• Help ensure loans remain compliant with agreements, policies, and applicable regulations
• Participate in projects and process improvements across the Credit Risk team

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree required, recent graduates encouraged to apply

Degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field are a plus

• Interest in financial analysis, credit, or banking
• Comfort using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and learning new tools
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Internship, coursework, or exposure related to finance, accounting, or lending

• Internship or part time experience in banking, finance, or a related field

• Basic understanding of financial statements and tax returns

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines

• Comfort working independently while collaborating with a team

• A customer first mindset and pride in doing quality work
