Job Summary:
A Credit Advisor should demonstrate commitment to delivering distinctive service. This position will be responsible for providing the credit analysis and underwriting for new and renewed credit requests. This position is also responsible for ongoing portfolio management and preparation of underwriting documentation. The Credit Advisor may become eligible to receive lending authority, as determined by the hiring manager.

Minimum Education: Bachelor''s degree is required -- finance or business-related field (accounting, economics, etc.).
Minimum Experience:Minimum of 10 years'' experience in financial services.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Thorough knowledge and understanding of the lending process. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or related software. Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations and compliance. Proficient in use of technology and loan systems. Effective interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills. Effective analytical skills regarding financial and procedural data. Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Understanding of critical lending documentation, general business systems and internal controls. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks. Must be flexible and multi-task, using effective time-management skills to meet deadlines. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities. Excellent client service skills. Tact and diplomacy in dealing with both clients and team members. The physical activities of this job include but are not limited to the ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time, use of manual dexterity, verbal communication, visual acuity, repetitive motion, and the ability to hear. Often long periods of mental concentration are required. Other activities are the ability to bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, and grasp.
