Pieper Veterinary is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) to join our Oncology Department at Pieper Veterinary Stratford in Stratford, CT.
As a valued member of our Oncology team, you will work alongside specialists to provide exceptional care for patients undergoing cancer treatments and therapies. From chemotherapy administration and patient monitoring to client education and emotional support, you will play an integral role in delivering the highest standard of medicine while helping pets maintain the best possible quality of life.

About You:

We are seeking a credentialed veterinary technician who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about making a difference.
The ideal candidate is proficient in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and safe patient handling and restraint. Previous experience or knowledge in oncology and chemotherapy is highly desirable but not required—we are committed to training the right candidate and supporting professional growth, including those interested in pursuing advanced oncology skills. Familiarity with EzyVet is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
This role offers the unique opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and their families, as you will care for many of the same patients throughout their treatment journey. As a result, excellent communication, compassion, and client education skills are essential.

Anticipated Schedule:
This is a full-time position:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday - 8am-6pm.
Compensation:
Starting at $29.00-$36.00/hour dependent upon experience.
Additional compensation is available for Veterinary Technician Specialists (VTS) or credentialed technicians actively pursuing VTS certification.
