Job Summary/Description:
WVLT-TV has an immediate opening for a creative, organized, and quality-conscious Producer to write, shoot, and edit commercials and television station promotions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Work with the Marketing Director in writing, shooting, and editing station image campaigns and promotions for station projects and events. • Work with the Marketing Director and the stations Sales staff to write, shoot, and edit commercials. • Write/Shoot/Edit public service announcements and event sponsorships as needed. • Works on projects with other departments as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar, or equivalent work experience. • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to: Adobe Premiere, Adobe Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. • 2+ years of video production experience with an understanding of broadcast video, lighting, and DSLR equipment. • Must be self-motivated and able to produce station promotions and commercials from concept to completion. This includes writing scripts, shooting, editing, and the production of graphics. • Drone experience and certification a plus. • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments on project development and assist with other duties as assigned. • Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Demo reel of previous work required - will be asked to provide a link. • Spanish-speaking a preference.
