The Crane Service Technician is a front-line role involving onsite repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of overhead cranes and hoists, with direct customer interaction.
Perform scheduled and emergency repairs, including electrical, mechanical, electronic, and structural issues, following safety standards and regulations.
Complete accurate documentation, review work with customers, and ensure proper work acceptance.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and inventory, while representing a professional image.
Communicate regularly with the office and develop proposals for repairs or replacements.
Stay current with industry training and certifications.
Possess strong people skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to work varied hours and travel minimally.
Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude, analytical skills, PC literacy, and attention to detail while completing physical and background requirements.
