A day in your boots

Morning arrives and a Grove GMK rolls into the bay with an intermittent electrical fault. You review the service history, pull the schematic, and trace the issue to a chafed harness. By lunch, you’re testing the repair against OEM specs. In the afternoon, you’re performing a comprehensive annual inspection on a National boom truck—micrometers out, gauges calibrated, every wear surface checked. You wrap the day documenting work performed and advising the customer on preventive maintenance. That’s the rhythm of an MGX Shop Crane Technician reporting to the Service Manager: inspect, diagnose, repair, verify—and deliver outstanding service.

Why you’ll like it here

  • $4,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of continuous employment
  • Tool Reimbursement Program up to $1,500 each calendar year
  • Relocation assistance may be available for those who qualify

  • Interpret manuals, parts catalogs, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan accurate repairs.

  • Pre-stage parts and confirm drawings for accuracy before turning a wrench.
  • Carry out detailed annual inspections with precision and care.
  • Complete work reports, hours summaries/time sheets, and expense reports with clarity.
  • Work independently and deliver top-tier customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you bring
