Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Possess a valid drivers license
Grade III License required within 24 months

Preferred Qualifications:
Some trade school education with an emphasis on engineering technology
Knowledge of the methods, materials, equipment, and tools used in the construction, repair, and operation of engines, pumps, and other mechanical equipment related to water/wastewater treatment plant operations and procedures; safe work practices
Demonstrated ability to use computers and computer software including, but not limited to HACH WIMS, SCADA, Maintenance Connection, PDF software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and to enter data into computerized management systems to compose and complete regulatory reports.

Responsibilities:
Complies with any and all regulatory requirements.
Follow all SOPs corresponding to the WTP duties.
Complete MC tasks in a timely manner.
Keeps maintenance records, prepares labor and material estimates
Follows oral and written instructions.
Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work.
Reads, interprets, and works from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, specifications, and piping illustrations.
Diagnoses operating problems and directs effective corrective procedures.
Assists Supervisor and Site Engineer in record keeping and prepares routine and special reports.
Assists Supervisor and Site Engineer in planning, scheduling, and directing the maintenance and repair of the Water Treatment Plant.
Communicates effectively, both written and verbally, with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
Establishes and maintains all safety procedures outlined by OSHA, State, and OMFS.
Performs other duties as required.
