How you make a difference

The CQI Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Director of Continuous Quality Improvement to support the Mortality and Morbidity Review program. They will assist in coordinating and tracking the program to ensure timely completion and accurate documentation. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Additional Details

Associate's degree required, Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred 2+ years of Mental Health experience required Corrections / institutional Mental Health experience preferred Prior experience in process improvement or quality management highly preferred not required

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Outlook.

  • None

Key Responsibilities

  • The CQI Coordinator will coordinate and track the Mortality and Morbidity Review program, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and associated training.
  • They will communicate with facilities, regional clinical staff, and operations staff to schedule and track Mortality and Morbidity Reviews and Peer Reviews.
  • The Coordinator will maintain accurate records, distribute necessary paperwork, and upload documents to the CQI software system.
  • They will take meeting minutes for various committees and assist in consensus building while bringing energy and accountability to their work.
  • The Coordinator will also have a teachable spirit and the ability to navigate the organization to seek answers when needed
