What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
The Product Solutions Group (P+SG) is a resourceful, agile, full-service team who deliver high quality products and creative solutions to our internal and external customers. We are involved in all supply chain solutions surrounding our customers; we evaluate our customers' needs and leverage our resources to deliver the solutions they need from development through efficient manufacturing, logistical solutions and more with world class speed to market. The role of the CPFR (Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) Planner within the Product Solutions Group is to provide a streamlined, end-to-end planning service, that bridges communication between our customers and our plants. Bridging the communication gap between our customers and our plants with accuracy, efficiency, and speed is how the CPFR planner brings value. This value is shared by our customers, internal partners, and our company. Specific responsibilities of the CPFR Planner consist of the following:
Demand Planning
Be the forecast subject matter expert for each account under your responsibility
Gather and analyze data inputs like POS data, customer forecast, replenishment shipment data, and promotion data to help inform your forecast decisions.
Shape forecast based on detailed data analysis, trend analysis, and sales team input
Create your own forecast opinions and then get feedback from key stakeholders
Lead collaborative meetings with internal sales team and external customers to gather inputs and forecast feedback
Support our commercial sales team with operational questions
Make forecast adjustments at a granular level (customer, distribution center, and item level)
Communicate risks and opportunities to the forecast assumptions
Gather product lifecycle inputs and adjust forecast based on launch or ramp down plans
Evaluate forecast validity for new business opportunities based on historical data with comparable products or comparable customers.
Participate in building a forecast from the ground up during annual budget creation process
Assist commercial sales team as primary point of contact for all planning (demand and supply) questions and requests
Supply Planning
Act as primary communication point between the customer and our plants
Manage, maintain, and forecast inventory for finished good products and raw material products
Create and manage the weekly build plans for each manufacturing plant at an item, warehouse level
Prepare and present customer KPI reports related to finished good inventory, raw material inventory, product transitions, etc.
Support new product launches tailored to the customer's needs and fast timeline expectations
Support new customer onboarding
Report Creation, Analysis, and Communication
Create dashboard reports leveraging Power BI and Excel to internal and external audiences
Create dashboards that anticipate the needs of the end user and convey the story behind the data accurately and quickly
Gather data and structure data in a systemic method for new data sets
Write DAX queries and DAX measures for dashboard creation
Use these reports to provide insights to internal and external users
Report forecast error performance versus actual shipments
Provide ad-hoc reports for forecast and sales trends
Perform other duties as assigned.
