The Third Judicial District is seeking two qualified applicants for a full-time customer focused and team-oriented Court Operations Associate to join the Olmsted County Court Administration team in Rochester.
The Court Operations Associate position is a fast-paced, highly detail-oriented role with a wide range of responsibilities that support court operations.
Primary duties include advanced case processing in an electronic environment; courtroom clerking in-person and via Zoom; chambers support; and providing exceptional customer service both in person and by phone. Depending on assignment this position may work directly with judges, justice partners, attorneys, litigants, outside agencies, and member of the public. This position will be filled for two distinct assignments, each with a different primary focus.
The role requires the application of independent judgment when following and interpreting established laws, court rules, policies, procedures, and regulations. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, accuracy with a significant volume of data entry, and the ability to manage competing demands in a dynamic work environment. Duties involve frequent communication, via email and telephone, to provide effective administrative support for court caseloads.
The primary work location for this position is the Olmsted County Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN 5904. Standard hours of work on Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
