SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job may require supporting the supervision of Bachelor or Master level interns. Acts as On-Call Supervisor and in on-call rotation for the healthcare setting and at shelter QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited college or university. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS The employee in this position must have CPR/First Aid Certification and be a Medical Technician. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES The employee in this position must have the ability to type and perform Data Entry/10 key, and use computer software, including Windows, Word for Windows, Alice, and Access.
