Course Registrar / Curriculum Quality Specialist

Location: Peterson Space Force Base, CO

Position Overview

Summit Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Course Registrar / Curriculum Quality Specialist to support the U.S. Space Force Combat Forces Command (CFC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Enterprise training program.

This hybrid position combines course administration, student registration, and training logistics with curriculum quality assurance and instructional material management. The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of course scheduling and student administration while providing curriculum products quality assurance including editing, and proofing to ensure products are accurate, current, and compliant with Department of the Air Force instructional standards.

This position supports the following intelligence training programs:

  • Space Warfighter Intelligence Fundamentals Training (SWIFT)
  • Analysis, Structured Techniques, Reasoning and Operational Tradecraft (ASTRO)
  • Mission Planning Course (MPC)
  • Space Targeting Course (STC)
  • Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Course Registration and Student Administration

  • Manage student enrollment requests and maintain course rosters within the Department of the Air Force Learning (DAFeL) system.
  • Create course offerings and update student enrollment records.
  • Generate instructor rosters no later than 10 business days prior to course start.
  • Coordinate student welcome packages and distribute welcome letters with course information and security instructions.
  • Verify student security clearances with S2/SSO personnel prior to course attendance.
  • Coordinate badge access and classroom access for all students.
  • Prepare and distribute graduation certificates upon course completion.
  • Maintain accurate student attendance, course completion, and training records.
  • Coordinate classroom scheduling, facilities, and training support requirements.
  • Prepare meeting notes for instructor meetings, leadership meetings, and after-action reviews.

Curriculum Quality and Course Management

  • Ensure curriculum products comply with Department of the Air Force Handbook (DAFH) 36-2675 instructional design standards.
  • Develop and maintain the Curriculum and Audit Tracker.
  • Conduct any editing or proofing of lesson plans, POIs, course management plans, slides, and any other related course material for accuracy and currency.
  • Coordinate annual curriculum reviews and formal course audits.
  • Perform routine quality reviews of lesson materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and operational relevance.
  • Track curriculum revisions and ensure updates are completed within required contract timelines.
  • Coordinate curriculum updates with instructors, subject matter experts, and Government representatives.
  • Verify instructional materials remain aligned with current doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, and mission requirements.

Feedback and Reporting

  • Collect, compile, and analyze student and instructor course feedback.
  • Prepare post-course feedback reports and After Action Review (AAR) materials.
  • Track curriculum improvement recommendations and corrective actions.
  • Assist with annual course audit reports and quality assurance documentation.
  • Support Government inspections, audits, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Maintain documentation supporting curriculum version control and revision history.

Training Materials Support

  • Ensure all course materials are current prior to each course iteration.
  • Coordinate updates to feedback forms, assessments, answer keys, and instructional materials.
  • Monitor curriculum changes and communicate required updates to instructors and Government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • Associates degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting military, government, or intelligence training programs.
  • Experience with course scheduling, student registration, or training administration.
  • Experience maintaining technical documentation or instructional materials.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using DAFeL or other Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Knowledge of Department of the Air Force Handbook (DAFH) 36-2675 instructional design standards.
  • Experience supporting curriculum development, instructional systems design, or quality assurance programs.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Space Force, Air Force, or Intelligence Community training organizations.
  • Familiarity with curriculum version control, document management, and audit processes.
  • Experience coordinating classified training events and student security requirements.

Note: The anticipated salary range for this contingent upon award position is $70,000 to $100,000 annually. The final offered salary will be determined by the candidate's specific qualifications, relevant experience, location, and the final funding level approved by the client upon contract award.
