Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and proceduresConducts thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles being operated, in accordance with established company policies and procedures, reporting discrepancies immediatelyEnsure that cargo is secured for transport in accordance will all applicable local, state, and federal lawsOperates a box truck in order to deliver customer freight in a variety of locations and environmentsMaintain good housekeeping standards with focus on the care and custody of materialsPickup orders at warehouse prepare for deliveryPrioritize and complete day-to-day activities as assigned based on customer needsField incoming calls responding appropriately and timely to customer inquiriesMay be required to perform basic emergence roadside repairsUpdate PeopleNet based on pick up ordersMaintain telephone or PeopleNet contact with terminal dispatcher/warehouse to receive instructionsAccurately maintain courier stop-logsAll other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

High school diploma, or equivalent requiredOne to two years' courier driving experience preferredPrevious material handling, HAZMAT, and forklift experience preferredValid driver's license required
